Newhall Farm Shop at Chepstow Garden Centre is a fabulous place to indulge yourself in a unique food shopping experience like no other. Managed by Colleen Duncan and backed up by a team of trained and friendly staff, we are willing to offer advice and help with any queries you may have. Customer service is definitely one of the Farm Shop’s top priorities and we go above and beyond when it comes to customers’ needs. If there is anything you would like to see in the Farm Shop, please just ask and our team will try their best to source it for you. Not only does the shop offer a wide range of fresh food- from locally sourced fruit and vegetables, to fresh bread, we also stock chutneys, olives, cheese, chocolates, gifts such as kitchenware, olive oil holders, personalised hampers and much more. Fruit and Vegetables
Our extensive selection of fruit and vegetables are sourced locally when in season and are of course fresh every day. Displayed as you come in the doors and taking in seasonal changes, you can enjoy a wonderful display throughout the year, especially at Halloween with our feast of pumpkins and at Christmas with our seasonal Christmas harvest. The variety is endless, ranging from a selection of apples, oranges, bananas, plums, peaches, pears, to a range of potatoes, including Cornish and Pembroke when in season. We stock locally sourced asparagus, parsnips, carrots, green and purple broccoli, onions, hispi and primo cabbages, etc. In our fridge you will find fresh salad, such as lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber, pickled beetroot, celery, fennel, and mushrooms. Our newest edition to our vegetable selection are the purple sweet potatoes, also known as ‘The Purple Powerhouse of Nutrition, packed with a huge amount of essential vitamins. Not forgetting that we also source local ostrich eggs when in season and of course local honey from Wye Valley and Pentwyn Farm.

Wigmores freshly baked bread
Wigmores of Monmouth one of the last traditional bakers left in Wales’ bread is delivered fresh every day. The selection includes white and brown tin loaves, cottage loaves, cobs and Swansea loaves. We also stock a variety of speciality loaves, including walnut and stilton, cheese and onion and tomato and basil. Many customers even ring the night before to reserve the bread, it really is that popular!

The Deli Counter
Feast your eyes on our large selection of dairy products, specialising in a medley of Welsh cheeses. Why not try ‘Gorwydd’, a vegetarian Welsh Caerphilly, ‘Y-Fenni’, a Cheddar milled with wholegrain mustard from Abergavenny or ‘St. Illtyd’, a mature Welsh Cheddar milled with white wine, garlic and herbs. Alongside these we stock the ever popular ‘Black Bomber’, a smooth creamy extra mature cheese made in Rhyl. From our selection of English cheeses why not try the ‘Stinking Bishop’, a cheese washed in perry to give it a characteristic flavour. The range continues, and it would be hard not to find a cheese to your liking. After choosing a cheese, why not enjoy our full range of olives, sun-dried tomatoes and anchovy fillets, along with our superb collection of balsamic vinegars and oils. Many customers have bought their bottles from the shop and then return to have them refilled with delicious concoctions such as raspberry balsamic vinegar, blood orange balsamic vinegar and lemon infused oil.
