SEASONAL, LOCAL & ORGANIC PRODUCE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES
Every Tuesday & Friday, we have a delivery of fresh organic breads from the Famous Hedgehog Bakery at Long Crichel, just 5 miles away. If you would like to place a special or regular order, just let us know.
We also get weekly deliveries of seasonal fresh produce from local growers, such as the Flourish project near Poole which helps vulnerable adults learn organic horticulture skills, and fresh cherries and cherry juice from the Dorset cherry farm near Milborne St Andrew. Because we believe in keeping food miles low where possible, you won’t find any organic avocados, bananas or other imported fruit or veggies – just delicious, locally grown and seasonal produce – the nearest thing we have to imported produce are heirloom tomatoes from the Isle of Wight, which we stock from late spring through to autumn.
Buying direct from local producers allows us to keep prices affordable – most of our organic produce is cheaper than many supermarkets!
We are passionate about sustainability and want to encourage the reduction of packaging waste, especially plastics. Pop in and shop our zero waste section for :
