Boyton Farm uniquely sells their renowned Tamworth pork, bacon and sausages, Sussex beef and local breeds of lamb direct from the farm at The Ginger Piggery. The beef and lamb are reared on conservation downland and water meadows. Apart from the bacon, there is no processing using chemicals – it may shorten the shelf life but it enhances the quality of these unique products.
All cuts are available from our resident butcher who hangs the beef and lamb whole, before starting to cut the meat into joints, curing hams and bacon and making sausages.
Ingredients from the Butchery and the Farm Shop are used in the Trough kitchen for cooking light lunches as well as cooked products in the shop.
The Boyton Farm Shop uniquely sells products from within a 50 mile radius of Boyton. Accumulating the finer products from Wiltshire and surrounding counties under one roof, the Boyton Farm Shop is a permanent farmers market open from Wednesday to Saturday: 10 – 4pm.
